Adding additional lag bolts to secure floor joists

I have some floor creaks in my new camper and crawling under I noticed I only have 4 bolts and the outriggers attaching the floor to the camper frame. Does anyone think I would have any issues if I added lag bolts at every cross member to better secure the floor "joists" to the frame? Even at the front and back it's not attached...

Good job on the safety items before crawling under. As to why hopefully someone smarter than I am can weigh in.

I wouldn't see a problem adding a few extra lag bolts.

Most camper floor joists are 3x2, so keep that in mind when it comes to bolt length.

The creaking noise you are experiencing is more than likely a gap between the sub-floor and the joist.

Keep in mind this is not a stationary item, it does twist on some of these roads.

I picked up some 1/4" Simpson Strong tie bolts...might add a few...but not go crazy. Where I did tighten those 4 bolts it did stop the floor from creaking there. But yeah...dont want to make it so tight that it doesn't move.

I think lag bolts would loosen up over time.
