Advice on best furniture replacement

Hi - We have just sold our old travel trailer that had a fabric covered sofa bed which wore well and looked very nice. We have purchased a slightly used larger one, but it has the peeling fake leather look sofa sleeper and recliners. The sofa looks atrocious, and I don't trust any "faux leather" as I have not had any experience with the material before this. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations on manufacturers of fabric sofa sleepers in particular, or other manufacturers whose products don't start peeling the minute you open the door? We had the fake leather also and it just fell apart. I carefully took each cover apart and using the parts as patterns was able to recover our dinette set and jack-knife sofa for less than $100.....Replacement sofas run $1000-$3000

We replaced our trailer sofa with two small LazyBoys. So much more comfortable!

Replaced our POS jack knife sofa/ sleeper with a leather wall hugger loveseat recliner from a local furniture store.

Dimensions were critical for a replacement.

Had to make sure the new one came apart easily to get it thru the door.

Around $1000 to replace if IIRC.
