AM/FM Radio Antenna

I have a 95 Jayco TT, I have the original antenna that came with it. My question is , I'm getting alot of static and channels that cut out. except for Country or Gospel.

Is there another aftermarket antenna I can buy either at Radio Shack or Wal-Mart ( BKA- China Mart)???

Any TT antenna I've ever seen is a basic base mount (3 screws) unit. They should be available at Radio Shack or maybe auto parts outlets but probably not WMT.

The only thing on radio anymore where I live is either country or gospel. I gave up on Radio and bought a CD player.

Some day I'll have to get more modern and get a MP C3PO player or whatever there called.

It may or may not be the antenna. Check for a loose connection at the rear of the radio, or a kinked cable which could have broken the center conductor. Unless the element (the metal part at the base) is broken, the antenna usually doesn't go bad.

Replace the radio with a good Sony sounds like the radio is bad.

Thanks. I will look into it!! It still has the original Audivox w/Cassette deck. Lol

I have about 1,000 rock / 80's / Oldies, etc. songs downloaded, but it would be nice to hear solid local stations.

I bought one with IPod plug I just plug it in and Rock-And-Roll. My old radio would not pick up stations I thought it was the antenna and it was the radio.
