Bigfoot used tiny screws in places where they were totaly inadequate for the load on them. Bigfoot installed the black tank cable with a radius much less than the cable manufacturer specified. Bigfoot chose the kitchen faucet. Bigfoot chose not tho install a decent shower head. Bigfoot did not provide instructions to the dealer on how to properly mount the batteries. I could go on! My two cents worth!

Yeah, I hear the same thing about ORV but the reality is unless we all want to spend twice as much on our trailers, we are stuck with Lippert, Dometic, Norcold, Suburban, etc. etc.
.....and some stuff is chosen on purpose; you didn't like your showerhead and, in truth, that's a common item for most people to replace due to low flow but the reality is that they are chosen to use less water. Same thing with the thermostat; some people like fancy digital thermostats but I prefer the original simplistic analog unit because it is reliable and doesn't need power to work.....and I own an HVAC company!
Sure there are always things that could be done better and I'm not making excuses for any lack of QC but I think you'll find that objectively, Bigfoot is as good as anything else out there anywhere close to the same price point and far better than average.
Cheers,
Dave

If they could only charge more they’d be able to build a nicer trailer!

There are some VERY nice high end units out there that cost two, three ... or even ten times as much as the typical travel trailer if you have the cash. ;-) Even higher end TT's from Lance, Airstream, etc. etc. all use the same crap appliances. Take a look at some high end European Expedition vehicles if you want to see how good things can be built if money isn't a concern. You aren't getting any of that stuff on a $50,000 travel trailer. Like it or not, you aren't getting a Porsche 911 GT3 for Hyundai Santa Fe money.
It's today's Wallmart, throw-away society, where 99.99% of the population wants something for the least possible cost regardless of quality.

$50000???? Where can you find a $50k BF??? The cheapest I could find was $75K and I had to drive over 2000 miles to get there. My local dealer quoted me $99K. Getting very close to AS pricing

The $50k figure I used was just a standard trailer price as a comparison to the $500k entry price for a high end expedition vehicle. Change the number to $80k if you like but the point remains.
Yes, a new BF 25B25RT runs around $79,995.00 according to the internet. ....as far as Airstreams go, they are still at a healthy premium even over Bigfoot with a 25FB listed at $116,995.00 or almost 50% more.....not what I'd call "very close".
I hope you can find a trailer you like. :-)
Cheers,
Dave
