Many of their products contain petroleum distillates, not good on an EPDM membrane.

I put a piece of Flexseal tape along one edge of my shower skylight last July. It looks okay so far, but it's not my intention to leave it much longer. However, removal may be the big challenge! I'm told removal of old sealant, cleaning well, and Dicor are the preferred solution. Hopefully, no one has previously used silicone?

I am sure you could. There are lots of things you can do, but does not alway mean you should.

When dicor and eternabond exist, are meant for this and are similar in price I would have to have a really good reason to use an alternate product.

Sorry, I know it is not a direct answer to your question.

As important as sealing the roof and everything on it is, I’d avoid products that use cheesy TV commercials to sell products. There are several products in tubes, cans, rolls, sprays designed for RV’s that I’d use first. More expensive perhaps than Flex X products.

If you have a rubber roof be real careful when attempting to remove the old stuff lest you tear the material.

I put in a new floor in my slide out. I primed painted then sprayed flex seal under the whole floor underneath. 3 years ago still looks good.

I had the same experience as kginder. Sun will dry it out and it will crack. It was actually worse than after 1 year than the the original problem.

Do not use it unless you want a real mess in a year.

I've used the Flex Liquid on my fiberglass roof. I used painter's tape to control desired edges, and painted it on carefully using disposable 2" brushes. I've finished around the skylight, vent cover, and roof to rear cap joint so far.
I must say, I'm very impressed! It's like real rubber, and actually looks really good. Not sure if it plays well with a rubber roof or not, I'd recommend a little more research there.
All together I've used the glue, liquid, and spray. The spray is OK, but I'm not a big fan of it particularly. The spray would not be my go to item in the Flex Seal family. It doesn't stay rubbery like the liquid does. I've yet to try the paste on something, we'll see.
