Yeah, I would definitely encourage you to check your door jam sticker. My 2016 Ram 1500, Big Horn, has a payload (according to my door sticker) of 1542 lbs.

32 feet long and maxed out on weight is a tall order for any half ton and the ones with the max tow package are rare. It will always be a hand full and not very relaxing. Too much trailer for sure if the wind is blowing and uncomfortable the rest of the time.

There are dozens of these threads on this site and other RV sites that all have the same info and each one of them wants to tow a 30+foot trailer at max weight with a half ton. The answer is going to be the same no matter how bad you want it to be different.

A heavy half ton will be just enough. The perfect truck for that trailer is a gas 3/4ton.
It seems a lot of folks enjoy number crunching and running back and forth to a scale. If you buy plenty of truck you can just load up and go, and not have to worry if your 50lbs over payload and whether you should go up a link on you w/d hitch.
