My 2019 Norcold 811 failed after 1.5 years. Never ever abused. Always level. Propane and elec systems worked. It slowly quit cooling. Added fans but didn't help. Finally the inside temp wouldn't go below 50* or so. Clogged cooling line.
Installed a 12V compressor fridge. 9.8 cu.ft. Already had solar so it was a no brainer.
2 cu.ft more room inside and it cools faster. Only downside is it sucks the batteries down.
The 400W of solar will handle the fridge but if we run the TV and other small items then I need to run the gen for a few hours. Not a big deal but I do miss the convenience of the 2 way RV style fridges at times. The 12V compressor is way less complicated though.

We did have a Norcold 600 series for 6 years without issue. So it looks like the newer ones are not as well built.

I wanted to update this thread - I spoke with Norcold today and while they will not refund me for the door I purchased, they will send me (free of charge) a new door and a hinge kit that should provide support for the hinge!

I feel this is a good deal for me since the 1 yr warranty on the fridge did expire March 2021.

Thumbs up N811 series here

Never a problem gas or electric. freezes hard ice cream, door is good so far. And we travel with a full fridge, including all door shelves full. And it “sips” the propane.

We've never had a problem with our Norcold cooling. We just got back from a trip yesterday, freezer section was reading -20 degrees on the "5" setting. It works as designed.

FYI - I did receive the hinge support kit but it seems like it will be of little value. It adds support to the hinge bracket itself - the metal piece that is attached to the fridge itself. My problem was the plastic piece of the door that rides on the hinge. I fabricated a piece that will support the door, pics attached...

A little plastic thingie that locks one of the door trays in place just broke - 18 months old! I'm guessing I'll have to buy the whole door tray panel! Grrrrr! Maybe time to switch to a Dometic.

1988 600 Norcold, still works swell. The board was replaced once a long time ago..That's been the only issue, my Klondike Bars are nice and solid....

I bought mine Sept 2020. $950 including a 3 yr warranty from a local appliance store. Used it a few times that year. 2021 we camped a lot. 50/50 dry/elec. It's been good so far.
My batteries are Interstate 6V GC 24G.
The dealer installed 2 of them when we purchased the TT so I bought 2 more afterwards to keep things equal.
If I remember correctly they're 225AH so 450 AH total with 225 usable.
I have 400W of solar and on sunny to mostly cloudy days the solar and batteries will run the fridge 24/7/365.
I leave it in the driveway with no elec, only solar and leave the fridge on of we're going camping in another week or so. I can't really say how long the batteries would last if it was solid clouds for a week.
There are IMO better 12V fridges out there. They weren't there when we bought ours. More MFG are getting into the 12V market.

Glad you got it taken care of. I built my own re-enforcing plate on an older Norcold using some aluminum plate.

I did find this on a search: https://www.amazon.com/NORCOLD-INC-639508/dp/B082FMW1MY
