Awning is onesided

I am at the campground and decided to extend the awning and well it extended alright but only on one side. I brought it back in and tried it again and it worked. Has anyone ever seen or heard of an awning only extending on one side. I have a GD Imagine with a 21ft awning. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

One side might have been stuck as in too tight in the bracket.

I have an awning with sliding parts. The manual says to lubricate it. I use a "dry" spray lubricant.

The sliding parts do jerk sometimes. It is all springs and pivots.
