axle realignment

I recently took some measurements of my axles b/c of some abnormal tire wear and found out a quarter inch difference between both sides measured from the coupler to the hub face of the rear axle. My question is how do I realign the axle to take out that quarter inch difference? When I look at the axle and leaf springs and ubolts everything looks in a fixed position!

Google Correct Track. Much easier to look at website than to try & explain it.

neither will do you any good if the trailers suspension pins and bushings/other parts are worn out.
Take it to a big rig trailer repair shop. They can bend the axle into proper specs and replace worn bushings and suspension parts.
One of my GN flatbed trailers since new has 5/8" bigger gap between the tires on one side than the other. I get 35k-45k miles on a set of tires and no odd wear patterns. I bought the trailer new so I guess the mfg brought it in specs before before selling.

Measure to the spring hangers on the frame. I have had springs with 1/4" difference. Be sure that the trailer is level and that you had pulled it forward for some distance before checking. You just can't assume that any component was welded on, made, or installed correctly.

If you have 10,000 miles or more on it the bushings are probably worn through. They are just plastic. Install a wet bolt kit or Nevr-Fail bushings. A worn bushing can make more than a 1/4 inch difference.

That's what I did, they had to bend the axle, then replaced all bushings with wet bolts
