If that 8 year old Lance truck camper was made with Azdel, I'm already rethinking that this is not my solution either.

Actually, the best construction that I've found is the Forest River Work and Play. Their walls are 1" thick FRP, with Color Gelcoat on the outside, and wallpaper on the inside. Because there is no wall framing, all interior attachments (cabinets and tie downs) are attached with stainless steel thru-wall sholder bolts. Watch their here.

Not sure when Lance started to use Azdel. Maybe in 2010 they were not using it.

Know many Lance owners that own TT, and TC, some that are older than 10 years. Delamination is not a issue, but they do take care of their units. RV’s will sweat, wood will rot.
Next time your at a RV dealer and they show off the wall samples in there showroom. Ask them to drop it in a bucket of water, and see what it looks like after 1 week.

I thought it was odd to see delamination on a Lance unit that I assumed was manufactured without wood in the walls.

Food for thought.... I have never had to reseal the roof of my car, van, or suv. Why aren't RVs made the same way? I guess a bus conversion might have that doesn't need to be sealed every year.
