Back up camera

Does anyone have any insights on using a license plate-mounted backup camera?
Thanks
Mike

I have a mount system I use for my portable Solar Panel on the back bumper. I mounted the camera to that. I was worried it would be blocked by the spare tire so I temporarily mounted it and checked. The camera even with the bumper and maybe 2.5 feet from the drivers side end of the bumper. The view was angle was good enough that something could be about 4 or 5 feet behind the passenger side corner before it would go out of view. I don't have a picture or I would post it.

How do you view the camera? Also, working on a battery box lock.
Thanks

Bought as kit with camera and monitor. They connect wirelessly. The monitor is about 7 inches diagonal. I have the magnetic phone holder on my dash, the monitor has a steel strip on the back and I just stick it on the magnetic phone holder. Works perfect.

Thanks Tomahawk, just looked at one on Amazon for $140. I'll check it out.
Thanks again
