We use our oven all the time. I only light the pilot after we get LP, it stays on all the time

Off topic, but where do you get your keto ideas? I'm getting tired of my nightly treat of two Ritz crackers with peanut butter, and the Atkins desert bars and snacks seem to throw me out of ketosis.

If we had an oven that worked in our almost new ORV I would bake. Just a matter of when I junk that pile of scrap metal. Not the highest priority though.

1st get a pizza stone cut to size for the oven.
2nd get a GOOD Oven thermometer ..The temperature dial on the oven knob is way off..

2-a, Buy the "long reach" Bic Lighter to light the pilot light

3rd Hit up WallyWorld for a "Toaster Oven" baking set.. [While You are there buy a set of Silicone baking mats and cut them down to fit the Toaster Oven baking set.

4th Use only the middle or the top shelf setting... otherwise You will burn everything..

5th
Get a GOOD oven timer, loud enough to be heard.
Practice practice practice...

I use our gas oven nearly every morning for my frozen and in a re-closable sack. Pilsbury Grande Biscuits..[350/375 deg for 20 to 24 minutes ..depends on Your current elevation.]{ the higher up the mountain , the longer it takes to cook}

Just take out the number of biscuits You need, and re-close the sack then return to freezer. Best part is that there is little to no mess..

I also do Chicken/Tuna Casseroles, Baked Chicken/Turkey. Baked Trout/Kokanee/Pacific Salmon/Pacific Halibut/ Pacific Cod/ or Ling Cod.
( I Absolutely AVOID ANY "Farmed" Fish or Veggie/Chemical enhanced based "Wanna-be Meats"s..)

The Lord created Animals that have perfected the conversion of grass/grains and other animals into meats for millions if not billions of years ...That's good Enough for Me.

You can prepare the same Meals as in Your Sticks and Bricks, in Your RV's full Galley.. The biggest challenge I've found is cutting the recipes down for 2 to 4 servings..(And cooking with Propane gas)
Happy Trails
