Battery charging question

I have a 2017 Keystone Passport 199ML.
We will be doing the first big trip soon and will probably have to spend one night at a rest stop/walmart/cracker barrel type place.
If I leave the trailer plugged in to my 2019 Ram 1500, will the trailer battery continue to draw a charge from the truck while parked?
I'm worried about draining the truck battery if I leave it plugged in.

One night - you will probably need heat. I would unplug just to be safe. With a small group 24 battery and a cool night you will be ok. But if it is cold a group 24 battery will not last all nigh running the power sucking furnace blower.

I tried one cold night in a rest stop and ran my small group 24 battery down so I woke up at 4:00am cold because my furnace quit working.

I would however guess a group 27 or the bigger group 31 would last all night. Again just guessing.

I googled the charge line to your truck. It is active all the time. It can draw down your truck battery. You should unplug when parking overnight.

I changed to a group 31 before I left for Florida last December. The crappy interstate from the dealer never ran long. Got a Duracell deep cycle and new battery box from batteries plus for 157 dollars. I stayed 3 nights on a farm in Tennessee. It snowed and had 30 degree nights. It was plenty to run the furnace etc. Never went below 50 percent. Charged it a couple hours each night while watching TV.
