Maybe a dumb question but I have a 2017 jayco 28bhbe less than a month old. We haven't had it out or plugged in in 2 weeks and today I went to do something and the battery is dead. I know microwave clock radio clock etc stay on and have a small drain but I wouldn't expect them to completely drain a new deep cell battery in 2 weeks. As doom as I plugged it in I check all lights etc to make sure nothing was left on.I know there's a simple solution with trickle charger or battery disconnect but curious if I should be concerned about an abnormal drain and have it checked out.

Yeah, they drain quick. I've be meaning to install a quick disconnect. Otherwise, I remove the black cable from my battery while it sits.

your 12V distribution in the fuse box pulls the power- it's permanently on. it supplies also the co sensors. you can actually unplug the ground from the battery and connect a amp meter in between. you will see how many amps the stand by pulls and if you check your amps at the battery, you can calculate, how long the battery will last. If you have a 3-way fridge, it will run, if you don't turn it off and the battery drains even faster.
we have a residential fridge with power inverter - turned on, the battery lasts just a day.
I always unhook the battery ground, when it's parked.
Also, many radios/entertainment centers are in an always ready state. A TT likely has 4 or 5 sources on parasitic drain. Put a cutoff swittch on your negative side and you'll be OK
