Before and after...WDH

Much better. Some final adjusting needed but way better than I started with. Took the rise out of the front and droop out in the rear, cat scales will help with getting it all right.

Is that an empty toy hauler with lots of hitch weight?
It's odd because the truck looks fine in the first picture, like the ball mount was just too low.

Truck and TT were loaded for this trip. RB and not a toy hauler. Stock hitch that I had was too low TDI, wanted a WDH with sway control so I ordered the Andersen and added it when it came. We live 10 minutes from this CG and the new hitch didn't arrive till mid week.

I'm really intrigued by the Anderson, but I'm just askeered to try one with my size trailer.

LC what is your GVWR and hitch weight? In researching this system I've read a lot of folks with heavier TT didn't seem to like the results given...those with a lower weight gave it high marks.

With my GVWR showing 5490# I wanted to try it. Will not know the real weights till next week when I go to the scales. Will say for the back roads it took out a lot of the ''Something just don't feel right''...but then again look what I started with lol.

Just looked at it and seems your closer to the 10,000 mark. Mixed reviews in that area, folks either like it or hate it. Over 10,000 they were not getting the desired results they wanted.

I suspect you would have been fine with a flatter ball mount. I use a very straight ball mount from Draw-Tite with a solid shank and 2" drop rated for 12,000lbs. No WD or sway control needed with my truck and trailer.

But hey, now you have a good reason to upgrade to a larger trailer in a few years, LOL.
