The 310 that I got also has a porcelain bowl and a slow-close wood seat. Not elongated like the residential models though, which would be nice. I can't sacrifice the extra bathroom space for an elongated model.

Our parts department has told me that when a 310 has a component that breaks we have to replace the whole toilet. I’m pretty sure the 210 is a viable replacement for the 310 as well

The extra length on the 320 is added to the rear relative to the mount location. So if you have the room between the flange and the wall at the rear of the toilet to install it, you won't be consuming any more useful bathroom space for the larger seat. We have a very small bathroom and I was also concerned about using up the precious space. Interesting that your 310 has the porcelain bowl and wood seat. I wonder if they changed the 310 to make the 320 sell better.

I guess this is one of those grass is always greener things, as I recently replaced my Thetford Aurora toilet with a Dometic 320. The big reason was that blade seal was leaking, on the Thetford models the blade seal must be changed from the bottom, unlke the Dometics where it can be changed from the top without unmounting the toilet. I also want the residential size bowl of the 320. While I am still getting used to the single foot pedal on the 320, I have found I like everything else about it better than the Thetford so far.
