These are the best, but by no means do you need the best to carry a bike. This type, a tray mount that hold the tires not the frame, is the best.
Are you going into a receiver hitch or on a 4 square inch bumper? If bumper then you need to reinforce the bumper, if it is of thin metal, or to just have a strong enough bumper.

What I like about 1-up is that each additional bike tray is higher in the back than the first, so when the vehicle goes through a slope and scrapes the bumper, the bike rack is already sloped and may not scrape at all, no matter how long. I think 4 might be the limit, but check the website.
These might be the most expensive, but just an example or the type of rack experienced cyclist will use.
