I have been looking into it also, so far from what I've read, it's allowed. Kittery Trading Post was mentioned, as well as a WalMart near Cabela's. I definitely prefer Cabela's over WalMart. Have overnighted at the Cabela's in PA a few times with no issues.

I live twenty five miles away and am in there several times a month. I would call to confirm but I always see a couple of dropped trailers on the far side of the lot.

There are a lot of decent to great CGs in the area. Why not stay at one of them for a couple days and explore the region between Portland and Kittery. Yes, some of them are very expensive but one like the CG on Rt 5 outside of Biddeford, or the KOA just North of Saco are still pretty reasonable. There are a couple on Rt 9 that are good too but get really hectic after Memorial Day

Wassamki Springs just outside of Scarborough is a good place, if it's open this time of year.

I was going to say it was OK, as long as you don't have a Bass Pro decal !!! But since they bought Cabelas , dought if that would matter now !

If you do stay there, grab a pizza at Portland Pie. Great stuff!
