I have the 2108ds with dinette slide. Rear bath, and Murphy bed in the front. It is one of the bigger models of the line. There are smaller/lighter models, and bunkhouse models if you have kids. The MM line is about 15% more expensive than competing brands. But IMHO, there isn’t really anything else out there with dual axles and 7ft wide. My MM model would be too much for your tow vehicle. One of the models at about 20ft and lower weight might work for you if you have a WDH with anti-sway. If you get interested in the MM line you should inquire on the WBGO forum if there are MM with a JGC.

one this is DON'T WORRY about climbing hills or mountian passes. if you have to pull in the right lane with the trucks and enjoy the ride. you'll get to the top just a few minutes slower, what's a few minutes. traveling is not a race if it was then get a Peterbilt. OH a 1500 crew cab would really be nice.

We have a 2015 GC with the factory tow package (must have or you are limited to 3500 lb towing). TT is a Coachman Clipper Cadet 17FQC. Gross wt on trailer is 3830lbs. Factory shipped weight was 2908lbs. Per CAT scale fully loaded (battery full lp tank and clothes/food/misc stuff) is 3440.

Biggest limiting factor on the Jeep is its cargo limit. Per door sticker cargo limit is 1050 lbs. Trailer hitch weight is 500 plus 100 for the hitch itself leaves 450 pounds for me, wife and misc stuff.

We just load our provisions in the camper and let it carry the extra weight.

We use a Husky Centerline TS hitch and have no issues with sway or "tail wagging the dog". Gas mileage sucks...literally. Average around 12.5mpg. That is at 55 - 65 mph. Higher speed and gas disappears faster. With the 3.5 just expect lots of downshifts on hills. Most times when towing I use the paddles to shift myself. Better control for anticipating hills etc.

Can I? 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee w/ 2022 Grand Design Imagine XLS 17MKE

Short wheelbase tow rigs can benefit from a hitch like the Hensley or the ProPride hitch.

Are you wanting to take this trailer all over North America? I have done this very thing (2008 Toyota Sequoia with 30’ 6500 lbs. bumper pull) and realized in the first 6,000 miles that a low powered rig at 8,000 ft elevation can’t outrun a tornado. It was scary.

Your proposed combination will be fine for local trips within a few hours but for long distance you will want for more.

I currently run the same 30’ trailer with a Cummins 3/4 ton tow vehicle. It gets better mileage (and goes faster) than the Sequoia mentioned above.
