I cut the old rusted and dented "bumper" off my trailer and made a new one. It hold my generator, spare, 2 fuel jugs and has a bunch of back up lights in it. I don;t know about you guys but when I'm ready to back in and park it's always DARK and probably raining. There is no such thing as too much light then.

Did you install a backup camera while you were at it?

Thanks! I have a switch in the camper that runs through a relay to turn them on from inside so I can use them to see outside at night.

On my toy hauler, there is a wire in the 7 pin connection and wiring harness on the trailer for backup lights. Mine wasn't being used, but was there going to the back of the trailer. I used my overhead loading lights in back by tapping into the switch and added a relay so that the lights come on when I put the truck in reverse. I'm probably going to add lights down low just because.
