Exclamation CrossRoads Shower Tub Upgrade to Shower Stall

Hi Folks, if there is anyone out there who has ever upgraded this type of combo Tub / shower to just a stand up Shower, please give me some tips? I have a Crossroads Sunset Trail Grand Reserve 26si and the shower is a kind of mini tub/shower. I want to just upgrade it to a stand up shower with the same footprint. Do they make shower pans that just fit into the existing footprint so that I can not have to "modify" the entire bathroom configuration in order to do this? Im not trying to upgrade the whole bathroom, just the shower. The Tub/Shower measures 53 1/4 x 26 1/2 with glass sliding shower doors. Thanks for the info if you have any?

I'll follow your question as that is what we want to do in our MH. The garden tub side is too high for us old folks to step over easily.
One way to keep the shower pan low is use a HepvO valve instead of a standard"P" trap in the drain line.

I looked into this several years ago with another trailer. You can get a custom shower pan made to fit your specs. The wall surround will have to be cut to fit. Custom shower doors can be ordered or use a curtain. At the time I couldn’t find a stock size close enough to fit properly.
That HepO valve looks very interesting.

ok, I was thinking that there was a OEM fit pan that was available but it looks like I may have to go that "custom" route ... thanks

There very well may be an exact size replacement pan now. It was about 8 years ago that I looked. Good luck with your project.
