I need to replace the cushions with something more firm than the cheap factory foam. I am #225 and I sit quite often and this cushion is just bottomed out and worthless. Dimensions are approx 44" x 24" x 4" thick. Just need the sitting part, not the entire set. We would never need this in the folded out sleeping arrangement.

Most seat cushions have a zipper so you can replace the foam. Check with a fabric store like JoAnn's or a local upholstery shop about replacing with denser foam. That way you can try sitting on just the foam to make sure it will work before buying.
If you need the coverings replaced also, I would go straight to the upholstery shop. Then you can get the foam density you want with the new cushions.
I had the same problem and replaced it with high density foam on Amazon. Very easy to cut with a serrated bread knife. It's available in many sizes. This is the one I used.:

Electric knife... kitchen or fishing.
3M spray adhesive for odd thickness.
Batting from anywhere...or Amazon.
High Density Foam from place that has several sizes (good stuff isn't cheap).
