So you have a cable connection on the exterior? And one on the interior?
Have you looked behind the scenes to see if they're actually connected?
If you have a Sat and a Cable exterior connection then they could've crossed connected inside the TT.
It's also possible that when they made up the coaxial cable they screwed up and didn't crimp it right.

When I had dish on my first motorhome I modded the tv outlet to work with satellite. Very easy.

Don’t know about Coleman units, but the internal splitters that Keystone uses prevent the coax low power current from getting to the Tailgater - so the “satellite” ports do not work. I ran a direct coax to my Wally thru the closest window for a while. Then I routed a 6’ coax behind the TV and dropped down to the wire loom under the slide out. Now I connect the tailgater to the coax pigtail sticking out below the slide out. DW did not want me drilling thru the fiberglass walls. She understands my skill level very well!

You already have a cable from the outside to the inside of the tv cabinet. The mod I posted uses the same cable to switch from direct to dish to antenna.

Hittn, how about this. The main thing we are concerned with is the cable coming into the RV, If we took that cable and installed it to an A B switch then one to satellite and one to cable?
