Does Keystone 26RBS have 12V in roof for Maxxair Fan?

I’ve just ordered a Maxxair 7500k fan for my Keystone 26RBS.
One question: Are there 12V wires in the front bedroom near the roof vent that I’ll replace with the fan?
Thanks.

If it is just a vent...no fan ----then factory probably did NOT run any 12VDC wires (pos/neg) to the vent area

But if you have a ceiling light you can get 12VDC ---- just have to have light switch ON and operate it using switch on light (if you have that style)

Good luck !

My ORV had a loop there even though there was just a vent. Whether yours does will be easy to find out. Remove the four screws and pull the trim bezel off and you should see them there, possibly tucked under the edge of the roofing material that hangs over the opening.

Wiring for fans is standard protocol for ORV.
I highly doubt Keystone makes it a standard feature, OP will likely have to tap the light wiring as mentioned.

Thanks. Let’s hope there’s a wire.

You will need 2 wires, one will be a 12V DC + and the other will be a 12V DC -.
Typically the - wire will be white in color but check with the manufacturer (or a multi-meter)to be certain.

Wait!!! Can't you run the fan in the bathroom and crack open a bedroom window? I my trailer that pulls air into the bedroom...right?

As posted prior, if it doesn't you can fish 12v wiring from a nearby ceiling light. That's what we did in our prior 5-r.
