Planning on installing a Stromberg Carlson AM-800 on my trailer, which type of silicone should I use on the screws or in the drilled holes?
Thank you
Mike

I sparingly used butyl tape caulk when I replace ours last hear. I don’t remember if they included any with the hardware.
Once tightly screwed in and the butyl has squished out, I use a razor blade or box knife to gently cut around the trim pieces to cleanly peel away the excess caulk.
You’ll find that even then the caulk will continue to creep out over the months/years and a retrial will be needed to keep a clean, fresh look.
