Electric heat upgrade

I always tend to come up with the least simple solution to problems and this project was just that. Because I got a great deal on a space heater I was able to complete the project for less than $50. So I purchased a Delonghi ceramic heater and while it worked great I felt like I was spending way too much time adjusting the thermostat. So I decided I would add a line level voltage thermostat on the wall to control a plug where the space heater plugged in to. So far...working great and the temp is now exactly where I want it. And the thermostat is rated for over 20 amps so in the future if I ever want to swap out the space heater I have up to 15 amps available on the circuit. Projects like this are for sure fun. And the wires behind the panel before this for sure did not look that clean and bundled....that also became part of the project.

All it took was...

Space heater that was not digital
Honeywell 410b 4 wire thermostat
A slim and regular single gang box
15 ft of 14 gauge romex
15 amp Siemens breaker
15 amp outlet
Whole bunch of other stuff like connectors, wire ties and 3 hours of time

And if your read all of this and wondered why I just didn't buy a space heater that has a digital thermostat...aside from just the fun of overcomplicating things... the floor is much colder than the rest of the camper so the location of the thermostat being that low was not ideal.

Only problem with that plug is if it is hot and any one wants to use it for something else you have to turn up the thermostat if you want to watch tv LOL.
Nice solution for a remote heater.
