eStream...

After having both a 16' Scamp then upgrading to a 19' Escape after the Scamp was partially crushed by a fallen 250lb ice laden oak branch (both molded fiberglass) still looking for something environmentally friendly.

Our current 35' MH is very comfortable but huge guilt at dumping so much crap in the air as we travel.

I just saw this (see link). While only a "concept" may be interesting.

Perhaps one of the new Ford 150 like etrucks and an eStream may be another way to go.

The linear living in an Airstream will alter long term travel comfort as we spend 4-4.5 months living in our rig non-stop. No slides for space expansion.

Cheers,

Batdude

You've obviously done enough right that you can travel now. You deserve it IMO.

Should I also have guilt or is yours misplaced? I guess we'll both have to answer that how we see fit.

The most interesting thing about the concept trailer to me is the powered wheels to help reduce power needed to tow. Haven't seen that idea before. There has been a lot of discussion here and elsewhere about the new F150 Lightning, and a lot of the discussion was around the decreased mileage range that would result from towing a heavy RV. This might be a way to make towing with an electric vehicle manageable. Don't know that I would ever be able to afford it with an Airstream, but a really neat idea!
