Extended Stay With 2 Propane Tanks

We camp host and there is a HUGE Propane tank that we can hook up to. I did a extended stay on my Motor Home and it was simple to hook up and use..

How do I do that with duel Tanks on my Travel Trailer? The regulator is in-between the tanks and it doesn't look like there is enough room for the adaptor... I have to use the Trailer regulator because the HUGE tank does not have a regulator?

Thanks LeeB

P.S. If you can please leave a link to the device I need... Pictures would be awesome....

Get a HIGH Pressure LP Hose in the length needed to go from tank to trailer
Remove one of the cylinder pigtail hoses....connect new propane line to trailer regulator where cylinder pigtail was connected.

Now you still have DUAL propane.....one is just REALLY BIG

Sorry no pics, but I was at an RV dealer about a week ago. They had so many adaptors I am sure you can make it work. Look to see what you think you need. Talk to the RV parts guy and try to explain to him whay you are trying to do. Let him show you the parts he things you need and see if they match what you have imagined in your head.

You may need to disconnect your tanks to hook directly to the the big tank.

During a two year capital project assignment near Amarillo, TX, I leased a 100 gallon tank from a propane supply company. When they set the tank near the front of my T-T, they simply disconnect the hose from my twin 25 pound tanks and connected the 100 gallon tank using a high pressure hose they provided. The 100 gallon tank came with a pressure regulator, level gage, etc.

If you still have the extend-a-stay it goes to ONE of the tanks Then hook in the external and select that tank.

On trailers I used to use an Extend-a-flow. Does not have the in port the extend a stay has but how I used it

When the tank it was hooked to ran dry I either switched the tanks around physically or removed the dry tank and re-filled while the other tank took care of the Trailer.. Just not the grill (usually how I did it)
