Extra part from my water pump system

i have the SHURFLO 4008-101-E65 water pump with the SHURFLO (255-313) 1/2" Twist-On Pipe Strainer. i took the strainer out and rinsed and cleaned the strainer bowl recently. everything seems to be functioning good right now.i found this round piece with 3 holes in it laying on the RV floor a few days later.is this a part from my strainer unit or just some random item from something else.i tried to find a parts diagram for the strainer unit but had no luck. i have include a few photos for reference.thanks paul

Is it plastic or metal? It almost looks like a small soda cup lid but with the holes it wouldn't be. Have you had kids in your rv? Maybe something from a game?
