While I do enjoy fixing things...I am a bit annoyed with the little issues that keep coming up. But oh well...

But I did get the window back in. I planned on using my putty tape but even after being in the freezer...the roll got squished and it was more than a pain trying to get more than a foot off the roll. So I used butyl tape which is much easier and honestly better overall. I still have to caulk it but waiting for it to stop oozing. It passed the water test though! Since I had the window out I put some flashing tape on the sill because I had it.

Been kind of a slow week for me! But I did sell my Drive BT100 stereo and factory speakers as a package and finally got my new stereo installed. Its an MB Quart RVM2.0. Sounds pretty good and the quality of the unit is far nicer than what came in it.

Been a while since I've updated. The new hitch prompted a rewire of the front circuit breaker and well i decided just to replace all the connectors including new battery terminals. The before picture doesn't look that bad but all those connectors were loose. Instead of using crimp connectors for the 6 gauge wire I went with aluminum lugs that use a set screw...and covered the copper with ox-gard and liquid electrical tape. Also loomed the wire. Finally got my new cargo door from Gulfstream...that will be going in soon. To be done is to pull the remaining windows and clearance lights and reseal. Still have a couple trips yet before water is shut off at NE Ohio state parks.

Also...truck has had a partial stereo upgrade. All new Rockford Fosgate speakers, small amp and sub. Sub box has one more iteration before ill consider it done.

And my 4 year old son has been perfecting his fastener free construction with my wood scraps.

Been a while since I updated but this year I replaced the line voltage thermostat with a 24v digital. Heat works even better now. Also rebuilt a broken wall header and added more outlets and shelves. Added front stabilizer jacks and added a power jack...and probably forgot something... Soon to come is load class D tires and tpms. Never ends...but I enjoy the quick projects.

Resealing windows.

Good on you for taking out and resealing your windows last fall. Had to do this on two of my TT. Many don't realize the need to do this after 5to6yrs. Butyl tape works great. Let it squish out for a few days and then it is easily removed with a butter knife. Then caulk on the exterior with premium Lexel caulk or similar. You Tube has a tutorial on how to do this. Check the interior window screws after you have traveled. They can loosen up due to road conditions. Best of luck with your RV upgrades.
