Also....it looks like you have the standard compartment lock with the round key? Those are all the same...my storage key will open your storage doors.

trailers come with really cheap, crappy locks. A good idea to upgrade them.

Nothing yet…will eventually just be the beer in the mini fridge. Once I get this lock working I won’t be using it again.

So in case this comes up in someone’s searches…I got the Houdini spray as recommended and went to use it but the lock opened without it. Temp went over 40 here for the first time so it appears the whole lock issue was because of cold.

Keeping the Houdini around for the future. Need to get a duplicate key because I broke one. Been to the locksmith twice and the copies haven’t worked.

Have a camper parts place near you? They will have one.

Congrats, and a suggestion. I'm not sure how far your first trip to Florida is away from home, but I would suggest your first trip be a weekend close to home to give you the opportunity to start getting your routine down. You WILL forget things. We all do. Make sure you keep a note pad out, and keep a list of things you need to buy or do. It will take several trips before you get everything figured out. The reverse is also true. Don't take more than you need, and if you go on several trips without using something, (not counting stuff for "emergencies"), take it out. Good luck, and happy trails!
