First time buyer

My sister has just retired and wants a TT. Looking for recommendations for a quality trailer brand and overall length of 28 ' or less (space restrictions). A bunk house model (grandkids), and outdoor kitchen. Looking for a couple of quality brand recommendations to begin her search .

That's a tough combination. Especially adding the Quality requirement. Only thing that I know of that comes close is the Outdoors RV Timber Ridge 23DBS. Well built but also a little heavier than many and may require more than an SUV to tow it. Also generally only available in the west as they are made in Oregon.

I see Coachmen makes one but quality is questionable.

Does she have a tow vehicle ?
This will also determine which trailer to get.

Quality Travel Trailer Brands

Check out this older thread. There are hundreds of TT brands and models so it is not complete, but it will get you started.

Yes, 1 ton diesel Ford pickup...tow vehicle not a problem, just the space to store it, thats why the 28' max length.

That settles it - an Arctic Fox, Outdoor RV, or Lance.

Agree with Tuffr2, those seem like good brands. However, they are also expensive. Also consider what dealers you have around you as that makes a big difference. All TT will require service plus fixing things. If this TT is only for occassional use you might also consider a more affordable but still good Winnebago and Grand Design brands as they have been well regarded on these forums. They may not be as high quality but it seems the mfr and dealers stand behind their product better than others.
