Foremost Insurance

I got a quote through FMCA for Foremost Insurance. Anyone have any experience with them?

Foremost is a division of Farmers that writes rv, motorcycle, boat policies and such. I have had them in the past but never had to file a claim. I shop every year and go with the lowest price which for me has always been Progressive. Insurance company has no loyalty to me and i have no loyalty to them, its $$.

We use them on one of our properties, but not our coach. They're a little hard to interact with. For whatever reason, it seems like a bit more effort to change anything and it takes a bit longer to get to talk to someone.
With all of our insurance, we shop every year. We've never found that being loyal to an insurance company pays off, but comparing rates regularly does. You're nothing but a number to them. Compare coverage and rates and forget about the name.

Loyalty does pay off if you have USAA insurance. Unfortunately, they stopped issuing rv policies. Got a policy from Progressive because they were way lower than anybody else. Ticked me off that at one year renewal, they jacked my rate up 20%. No claims, perfect driving record, so no other reason than “because they could”. Reflective of phone and cable companies I guess. But Progressive after the rate hike was still lowest.

Call them and yell them that they are forcing you to shop for another company and they will likely lower it.
