Anyone have any words of wisdom before I pull the trigger and buy this used 2018 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite 23BHXL?

Just make sure you have enough tow vehicle and do a thorough inspection. Make sure every seal is good and everything works like its supposed to. Hope it goes well.

After Sale Customer Service

You can't do enough testing of everything. You must do the testing before signing anything and paying even a small down payment. Test everything. Have them add water to tanks. Run water pump. Test all faucets. Have them demonstrate dumping. Test all appliances. Battery powered appliances need testing on battery. 120 volt appliances need testing on shore power. If there is a generator, it must be tested under load. Test leveling systems. Test electric tongue jacks.

Do not pay or sign until all issues are corrected. A promise to correct it after you sign is highly suspect. Remember Wimpy from the Popeye cartoon. "I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today." Like Wimpy's creditors, you may wait months and spend much time towing back and forth to the dealer.

A few dealers are excellent at customer service. A lot of them including many large national chains will put a paid customer low on the priority list after potential new customers.
