Fresh Water ? New Guy

My new TT has a 80 Gal. freshwater tank that will be filled before dropping on a permanent site. I cannot afford a well this year, so I will be refilling the tank with containers (for this year only) . I've read about the 8 drops of bleach per gal. of water sanitizing method. Does anyone know how long this method will keep water fresh? Will not be used for drinking or cooking, showers and washing only. Thanks much.

Bleach/Chlorine dissipates with time, but if you follow this http://ndep.nv.gov/bsdw/docs/disinfect_drinking_water.pdf
the water should remain safe to use(even drink) for many months when you use a swimming pool kit to keep track of chlorine level.

I agree, if treated properly the water will last for several months. You might be surprised how fast 80 gal. of water will be used. I don't think you will have to worry too much about the water even if you only use the trailer a couple of times per month. I think you're biggest problem will be keep the tank full.

Anyway thats my 2 cents worth. By the way, welcome to the forum.
