Getting on the roof, too much weight?

Newbie here with my first question. We purchased a new puma 29 qbss last summer. I want to get on the roof to inspect the seams and vent and to wash it but I'm afraid I'm too heavy and don't want to damage anything. I weigh 260. I've looked through the manual and can't find anything on it. I will call the manufacturer next week but I'm sure they are going to refer me to the dealer. I believe I will take much better care than they will give me from the experience I've had with them so far. What are your thought or do you have a different idea like scaffolding of some sort. Thanks for your time.

Getting on the roof, too much weight?

I was 230 to 250 and got on the roof of my old R-Vision. Wear tennis shoes walk softly. The roof will flex. Just walk carefully and try to loose some weight. I shed 40 pounds.

Does it have a Factory OEM Ladder for roof access?

Does it have a roof A/C Unit?

I weigh 285# (++)
I have used the factory oem ladder for 10 yrs

If in doubt use a 1/2 sheet of plywood to spread your weight

I weigh over 280 and have always used two 1/4 sheets of 3/8 plywood to create a very confident surface for working on the roof of the TT's I've had. Easy to move around and to get up on the roof. Never use the factory ladder, it's better suited to holding my flag pole. I always use my extension ladder to get up there. Have installed roof vents and covers, replaced AC units and done various other things requiring roof access. The plywood is the key for worry-free working up there. Nothing you can't do on your RV, just move slowly and carefully with purpose up there.

Thanks for the replies, ours doesn't have a ladder so the extension ladder and plywood would do the trick. It does have a roof ac. I could stand to lose some weight.
