Glass stove cover metal handle coming off

I have a foldable glass top on my Suburban range. The metal lift handle on the front is starting to come loose. It looks like there is a double sided tape bonding the metal to the glass. I would like to replace it before it fails completely. I can seem to find this anywhere in the parts diagrams. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a replacement tape? What did you do?

Thanks

Double-sided auto trim mounting tape should hold when properly applied.

Auto dealers will sell a glue that they use to put mirrors back up on a windshield you could try that as well but whatever you do do not use crazy glue or super glue. Crazy glue or super glue expands at a different rate and will break the glass. I broke a windshield that way once.

Thanks. That was what one YouTube video said to do. I’m not a big fan of super glue anyways
