Gray tank won't drain
We have a 2018 FR Vibe 258RKS that has 2 gray tanks. The gray tank associated with the bathroom is fine, the problem is with our kitchen gray tank. When we drain it the water will release approx. a gallon of water then stop. The only way for us to clear our tank is to open the drain and go forward and stop quick several times. The water will gush out after each stop (we only do this at our property) however this makes using our kitchen sink nearly impossible as we don't want to travel with water in our tank. My husband is very handy and has tried snaking it, removing the vent hood to allow more air, checking for any kind of blockage and I might add I am extremely careful to only allow soapy water in the drain. We heard when these are put together sometimes they cut off piping and it can cause a blockage. Any ideas how to check for this and remove it? Any other things we can try?

Do you experience this at campsites or just at home? I ask because holding tanks tend to be shallow and if off level will not drain well. The key is to figure out which end of the tank the drain is on and put the non drain end higher than the drain. I have had trailers that needed the front raised a bit to drain a tank completely. Side to side is even more critical and drainage will always be helped with the valve side a bit lower.
This all assumes that there is no physical blockage but your post seems to indicate no blockage as you can get flow.
I don't know what vent hood is being removed but that should not be part of normal draining procedure.

I'm wondering if when you move the trailer back and forth like you said do you have to do it more then once to get the tank to drain completely or does it stop again after some comes out and you keep having to move it to get any more to come out. If you keep having to move it and only get a little out at a time that would make me think that you are correct thinking that there is something in the tank being sucked to the drain when you open it

Thank you for responding. To clarify the vent is actually the air flow cover that my husband made sure was clear. It takes multiple times of pulling forward and stopping quick to clear the tank, therefore we are sure it is an object inside the tank, such as the pipe they cut. Does anyone know how to get that out? My husband is very handy and can fix most things but this has us stumped. Any video's to refer to? Thanks!

What did he find when he removed the valve?

We found a similar issue on my brother-in-law's Pleasureway.
When the factory installed the holding tank and drilled out the large hole for the drain fitting they left the cut out piece inside the tank, therefore causing a blockage.
Just a suggestion.

First remove whatever you need to and check to see the drain is on the tank bottom or at least low on the side. Then check the waste line routing to ensure it all goes downhill. It sounds like you have an uphill segment somewhere. If it all looks correct, I'd cut the line near the tank and snake it in both directions. You can repair it with either a glued in slip joint or a rubber clamp on.

Give your tank a colonoscopy.
Get yourself one of these and send it slowly up the drain when it's blocked. I have no idea how you would get anything out but at least you might see what the problem is.
This camera thing is also handy to have around. It connects to your phone wirelessly and shows what the camera sees on your phone and you can take pictures.

So yeah either something is blocking it or the valve is stuck partially open/closed. This happened to my black tank! It was the long cable to the valve so I relocated the handle on a much shorter cable!

It really sounds like something is in the tank and moves over to block the drain. Moving the TT dislodged it for a short time. I second the scope. I also think you could verify this by running a snake into the drain. You should be able to dislodge the blockage enough yo create some flow. If there are no y this is easy if there are y you might not be able to get to the correct tank.

I would think you need to clear the gray tank and remove the drain pipes to see what treasures they left inside
