Hot water heater on electricity question on Coleman light LX camper

Hi there, I just purchased a Coleman travel trailer today, it's my second TT. One thing I didn't notice and didn't ask was how does the hot water heat work on this camper via electricity

Not camping by the way tonight, just figuring it out.

There isn't an Electric switch inside, it has a cover over it as it's not supposed to be used. The camper is missing the hot water manual but I think it's a Atwood MPD 93755 model.

It does have a Gas switch with the DSI FLT light.

Thanks for any insight!

Check the hot water tank itself. Open the outside cover. Mine was on the tank outside and under the burner tube so was hard to see. You turned it on and when you plugged in it worked. Found Propane faster for recovery however.

Thank yo for your quick reply. I'm not quite seeing what you described, but I do agree the electric switch has to be on this unit, I looked but didn't see a switch, added a pic for reference

It may not be electric at all, the model number is G6A - 8E. C in the model number indicates gas and electric.

Good to know, will keep looking for confirmation

Just wanted to report back I don't believe electric is an option, but the propane heated it quickly!

I know there is an option for non electric water heaters......if yours had a drain plug, they make a 'add your own' type heating element.....
