How many nights on a tank of propane?

I know there are a lot of variables, but just curious how long you all go on a tank of propane (20 or 30lbs). I started with full tanks and used one tank only like we wanted (not really conservative), including grilling, cooking, traveling with the fridge on and running the heat (hey, it was 31F this weekend).
We got exactly 20 nights out of a 20lb tank. So about $1/day.
Also, do you run the "central air" for propane heat or use and electric space heater? Seems to be advantages to both.

A electric space heater in the living are, which moves to the bedroom if needed when we retire for the night. We have a down comforter on the bed, so often the electric heater is not needed or run on a low setting. If we don't have shore power or it's colder than the electric heater can handle, then we use the gas furnace.

I would say, around 35 nights during summer time from 20 lb tank. We always use electric heater when necessary. Electricity is not metered in many places and gas heater smells horribly when turned on after a long period.

There is no correct answer for how long a 20, 30 or 40# propane tank should last. It all depends on your personal life style and how warm you keep the rig, how much you cook or how much hot water is used.

We run the heat pump as much as possible and a small space heater or two at times. If it gets down to near freezing, we will use the gas furnace with some help from a space heater. The frig and water heater are generally kept on electric.
