Interesting idea but a dealer or salvage plate wouldn’t be accessible to the OP and in BC a small roll back flatbed would still be classified as a trailer and need a plate, so that wouldn’t work. Honestly the easiest thing for those who only occasionally need a trailer towed is to hire a tow truck. Its done here all the time. And if that is a financial concern then simply go on facebook, explain your situation and ask for help in one of the local community forums. This is pretty much a socialist province. Lots of people with trucks or tow vehicles will step up to help.
