If you are not completely stuck on a wireless unit there are license plate cameras and very small monitors. I installed one on my pickup. It works incredibly well. It is not that difficult to run the little wire that came with it.

I bought mine for less than $50.

I will definitely let you know the verdict. It looks simple to install, much more simple than the ones with seperate transmitters/receiver etc. And they claim over 100ft reception but there are videos to show it goes over 200ft. I just need about 35ft so I think I will be ok.

Looking forward to hearing about it. I need something as well. No wife, no one to help guide me in ...

So, since you have had it awhile, how is it doing?

Would you buy it again? Or mount it differently?
