Inverter too hot.

We just bought a new Wildwood 27RKSS and have been using it everyday since July 3rd. The A/C runs most of the time along with the refrigerator , hot water heater and various other electronics including two TVs, a sound bar, direct TV receiver, laptop and microwave. The main breaker tripped a few times about three days ago and I just thought we were running too many things at once so I made a few small adjustments. I came in early today and noticed an odd smell. I couldn't put my finger on it right away, but after a few hours if investigating, I found the source. The wires running into the inverter have gotten hot and the insulation has melted on most of them as we'll as the breakers were very hot to the touch. I have since turned all breakers off and will have to call dealer and or Forest River in the morning. I hope this is covered under warranty...?? I ado think our lucky stars as it could have possibly caught fire.

sounds to me like you stressed the electrical system to its outter limits
The main breaker blowing confirms that. The inverter wont have any bearing on this as your obviously using shore power BUT a lot of the electrical line,s run through the inverter in the newer units. melted wires sounds like poor electrical connections or wrong size wire for amp draws being put through them
