Is this delamination?

Hello everyone, newbie here. Currently searching for our first TT. Really like the stowable bunks in the 2017 Aerolite 282DBHS we looked at yesterday. I was reviewing the pictures I took once I got home and noticed what looks like (to my newbie eye) delamination bubbles on the top right side of the rear panel. Neither my husband nor I noticed them in person and we think we were looking closely. Can anyone confirm that what I'm seeing is in fact delam. and if it is should I run away from it? Thank you! Possibly, at least those two areas coming down from the roof or it could be a screw from the roof that was put in too close to the edge.

That doesn't look right. Do they have any others on the lot? If so, do they also have the same issue? I think I'd point it out to the dealer and ask when the next one will be coming in and you'll pass on this one.

Any time the panels are cut to fit in a certain area the raw edges of the panels have to be sealed to keep them water proof. When you have a 'couldn't care less employee' doing the work that is what you get. They would replace it under warranty but who wants their new right torn up like that?

Agree. I have this on my outdoor kitchen panel. Looks like screws missed the center of the wall. I expect that as the fiberglass ages it will eventually split. I will tell you that my 2011 still looks the same way as the day I picked it up (ie, not gotten worse in 5 yrs). That said, roofs have plenty of challenges when they are in good condition not to mention adding risk items like this. If it was me I would run.

Yes, brand new 2017. I think I will pass on this one :( If I did want to get it, is this something that I would expect to be fixed/replaced before I signed on the bottom line? I'm not in a hurry...

I wouldn't buy it even after being fixed unless they gave you one heck of a deal (like 50% off) IMO.
Camper walls "can" be removed but shouldn't be if at all possible due to all the room for errors being reassembled.

Bad sign on a new unit. I'd scratch that brand off my list.

I would pass on that unit. But before condemning the entire line I would send that picture to the factory and see what their reaction is.

You can have 3-4 of the same units on the same lot and all will have different problems. If you like the TT look for another that has less problems.

and that is why I prefer to find one on a lot that I like. When you special order you get the one that you ordered.
