Wow. I have an Eagle HT on order for months now and literally just got back from looking at both models on person. They are both very nice rigs. We liked the Jayco more from an interior standpoint. Really liked the farmhouse interior option compared to the Grand Design. We currently own a Grand Design and wanted to like this years offerings since we can get one sooner than the Jayco. Sadly they made some really bad moves that I don’t like at all. The window shades are awful on the GD. They won’t with cheap roller shades instead of the fabric ones from years past. The Jayco still uses the fabric style. The rollers really cheapen the entire feel of the unit. We also preferred the fabric on the Jayco furnishings to the GD. The last big thing was the ac vents on the Jayco closed and the GD didn’t. I’m not replacing them at that price, so it was another sign of cheapness. The Jayco just felt like a better trailer as far as weight and quality. I know that Jayco is Thor and I understand that they have some bad reviews but I’m sticking with my Eagle HT that we ordered. Very similar to the Eagle you are looking at. Good luck with your purchase.
One thing that pushed us to the 315RLTS were the reviews. Seems Jayco is not the solid rig it once was. In the year of Covid, it took us 10 months to even find one!
