I use open gear lube I found at NAPA. I use it on the power stabilizer jacks too.

I picked up some slide out lubricant from Amazon. Comes in a spray can with a straw like WD 40 but comes out much thicker. I treat the slide gears &track as well as the stabilizer jacks at the beginning of the season and before I put it up in storage.

This works great. Our previous unit was 12 years old when we sold it and no rust on the gears or problems with the system ever (purchased new and used this from year 1). Highly recommend! The rust inhibitor does exactly what it says for your gears/slide tracks under the coach. Used the other product on the seals (again never an issue from our full slide on our previous 2005 Jayco 29FBS. Click image for larger version
