Jayco x213 now or wait until fall for Micro Minnie

Hi all. I have been looking at getting a TT for a while and this was supposed to be the season we got one. I almost picked up a used Winnie 2100BH in March for 14000.00 but the Covid happened and now there is slim pickins. I like the quality of the Winnebago and really did not want to spend over 15k. I recently found a 2012 Jayco x213 for sale and can probably get it for less than 10k. Am I settling for instant gratification here? My kids want to go out this summer but I feel like the good time to buy is the fall of winter or early spring. I am just asking if the Jayco would work out or am I setting myself up for buyers remorse. I have two boys ages 4 and 6. I need a bunkhouse option. Any advice?

I rank Winnebago as one of the better trailer builders. I rank Jayco (right or wrong) below Winnebago. Winnebago has the best fiberglass finish.

But saying that, Jayco has been building trailers as long as I can remember. A Jayco could be a good enough trailer.

We had a 2009 jayco. I know theyve been bought by thor since then, but our 09 was a good unit. I could be wrong, but i think winnebago builds their own frames.

We looked at brand new Jaycos in 2017. I was absolutely appalled by what I saw.
Crooked cabinet doors
Cabinets showing a gap to the wall.
Interior paneling loose from the wall
Loose trim and panel seam covers
Sagging roof panels
Puckered and uneven upholstery
Curtain rod pulled out of the wall
Wires sticking out of a panel seam

And the salesman at Camping World said I was "Too particular" and had "Too high of expectations".

This should tell you all you want to know: https://youtu.be/aLHux4SuXbY

It could just be a bad time of year. Im looking at some grand design. But Im not paying through the nose for one. I just feel like a 2012 is too old and for 8k more a new one is a better option. Might wait until fall prices.
