Keeping toilet seal wet
How do y'all keep the toilet seal wet while storing your camper? I can put water in the bowl but eventually it'll evaporate. suggestions??

The seal will dry out from the underside, so I'm not sure it's critical to keep it 'wet.' You could try glycerin, or some silicon plumbers grease.

I just leave antifreeze in bowl when I winterize it.. Always there in the spring and when not using in summer I fill with water and add the lemon drain Deodorizer works fine every else people said sounds good to

I'm confused by both the question and the answers. Are you asking about the seal on the flap that flushes the toilet or the seal where the toilet meets the floor? We have not "lubed" either one and have not had problems, but we are only 3 year motor homers so far.

The seal on the flap.
You would need to remove the toilet to "lube" the floor seal.
After winterizing, I put mineral oil in the toilet, let it sit for
while doing something else. Come back and slowly move the
flap back and forth, then add about 1 cup of oil again.
I have found this method seals quite well and does not dry out.

Does RV antifreeze evaporate? That might work, also.

Olivie oil during storage periods......even in winter
Doesn't evaporate
Lubricates seal----keeps it flexible
