Kroil Oil rocks for the trailer
I posted a thread earlier this month on my stairs binding and very hard to move. I tried several applications of PB penetration oil over several days. This helped alot but did not resolve it. I read about Kroil oil which I had to
order online and took about 8 days to get by ground.
Well I used it tonight and one application fixed the issue. I can finally move
my stairs with one hand. If you have a pivot point or hard to remove bolt on the trailer try this stuff, amazing.
BTW: Just for the record I left 2 emails and phone voice mail for support with Lippert who made the stairs, over a 2 week window. I have yet to hear back from them.

Yep, good stuff. Had a 1" alignment nut seized on old in board boat motor. Nothing worked until the kroil. Hard to find though. Work the Alaskan oilfields now and that's all that really used. Funny really, stuffs everywhere at work but went nuts trying to find at home.

Only place I could ever find Kroil was at work.........which was FREE
But after 12 years of retirement I have used up my supply.
Looked for it on-line...dang stuff is high priced.
Best pricing I found is via Midway USA gun supplies---------but only liquid can no spray *8oz $12.99

it's not cheap. but it works better than anything on the market, you don't need to use
very much of the stuff.

Kroil is used for many things, from cleaning sports equipment to the aerospace industry. It's great stuff, and yes, it's expensive. But how much does something that really works, really does what it says, have to cost before it costs too much?

Used Kroil for years in my job as mine Maint supervisor. It is great stuff, but you can make a very close substitute. Mix acetone and Dexron trans fluid together (50-50 ratio). Works very well much cheaper. Trick learned from old time miner.

I mix Kano Kroil and Hoppes #9 50/50 and use it to clean my guns. Been using that formula for 40 years+.
