During Hurricane Sandy we lost power for 4 days, but we had heat and lights in our travel trailer in the yard and then it housed a couple of relatives who needed a dsy with heat and hot food till their electric was restored. So glad to have it! REMEMBER, keep propane tanks filled, etc, in case you ever need it

We were without electric for five days. I had my generator, so we had heat and could power the fridge and Directv. My genny is not large enough to power the electric water heater, so the RV was used to shower....what a blessing that was.

We had our need for our TT a month after we bought it with the derecho in June. No power for six days, but we had just bought a generator for future camping needs - just had the need a little sooner than planned. Our little $300 generator powered the trailer, house fridge & upright freezer.

We had all our creature comforts including running the electric oxygen concentrator and BPAP for DH, who could sleep in air conditioning.

My son is still out with a crew working to restore power in the areas of West Virginia affected by Sandy. We are hoping he is back by Thanksgiving.
